Cire De Lanol

Starting at: $3.25

Cire De Lanol is made up of a mixture of cetylstearyl alcohol and ethoxylated cetylstearyl alcohol. Cire De Lanol is an easy to use primary emulsifier that creates light and fluffy souffle or mousse-like emulsions. Cire De Lanol creates very stable formulations that are 'light as a feather', airy serums, lotions and creams that do not deflate while in their jars or containers. Emulsions created with Cire De Lanol are thixotropic and break quickly on the skin and are easily and readily absorbed with no waxy after fee. Cire De Lanol allows for the quick and easy formulation of elegant new cosmetic emulsion textures, particularly fluid emulsions.

Due to the non-ionic (neutral charge) nature of Cire De Lanol, it can be used for formulations containing cationic (positive charge) ingredients (ingredients such as BTMS, OSC, CR), strong electrolytes, and under variable pH conditions. Cire De Lanol can be used as a self emulsifying base either alone or in conjunciton with other emulsifiers, including anionic Sepigel 305 and Carbomer.
