Damaged Inventory Disposal
Here are photos from the inventory that had to be disposed of after the early October warehouse damage. Since the disposal will fall on the landlords shoulders, it was imperative to make sure we painted out the manufacturers information on each of the boxes, fiberboard kegs, drums, etc. Believe it or not, we actually caught some Yahoo’s diving in our dipsy dumpster already! There is over 6,000 lbs of inventory marked for disposal.
Sunday is our last hard labor move day. The last of the heavy equipment gets moved to the temp facility. Then we continue our search for a dual use facility that will allow Soapalooza! Soap Arts Studio to maintain a retail storefront operation and backend warehouse operations for Southern Soapers. It is beginning to look like we may need to keep Soapalooza in storage and just concentrate on a facility for Southern Soapers first however. Dual usage building seem hard to come by.

Yikes. And it’s no wonder that we were hoping for a distressed merchandise sale.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said. A picture is worth a thousand words….
Hang in there Kelly, I haven’t been here long but I can already tell you have what it takes to recover.
