Combine chocolate chips, butter choice, and oil choice in a glass dish and microwave until slightly melted, allowing these first three ingredients to finish melting outside the oven while gently stirring. Add Polysorbate and preservative while continuing to stir and then add drops of Chocolate fragrance oil to boost the fragrance. Scent to desired strength. Pour into container of choice (I use one oz for Point Of Purchase (retail storefront) and this retails for $12 each 1 oz container. Makes 6 or more facial masks.
Recipe can be doubled as many times as needed to accommodate larger batches for additional product yields. Customers love this Chocolate Moisture Mask on the face, neck, and backs of the hands. This product rinses easily due to the polysorbate in the formula, and leaves a wonderful chocolate smell on the skin. This recipe also adapts perfectly for an oil based (anhydrous) body scrub as well.
